Are you a Technical Sales Engineer from a metalwork background looking for a role split between technical sales and estimation within a leading manufacture offering in-house training and a unique workload?

Since the early 2000s, this company has been supplying bespoke steel fabrication solutions to industries including agriculture, renewable energy, and food & beverage. Through continued growth and a strong reputation for quality, they have achieved a multi-million-pound turnover.

In this role, you will support the pre-fabrication process from initial enquiry through to tender submission. Working closely with the engineering team, you will review technical drawings and specifications, price sheet metal works, liaise with clients, and produce competitive tenders for a range of specialist projects.

This role would suit a Junior Estimator from a metalwork background who is looking to further develop their estimating skills and career within a well-established manufacturer offering training and project involvement.

The role

• Produce cost estimates for steel fabrication projects
• Review drawings and technical specifications
• Prepare and submit quotations

• Technical Sales Engineer or similar
• Metalwork background
• Can commute to Mansfield
